Cal began his software career as a data and database engineer. He realized that his teams often faced a recurring issue: moving data from one point to another was challenging. In response, he decided to leave his job and developed what eventually became SQLpipe. Recognizing the growing need for database migration services, Cal expanded SQLpipe's product line, leading to the creation of Albatross Migrations.

Maria has worked in the US tech industry for several years, starting as a Technical Project Manager before moving into a Full Stack Developer role. She was one of the early team members at SQLpipe and later helped start Albatross Migrations. Maria's focus is on converting schemas from one database's syntax to another, and she's had plenty of practice - she's worked on over 25 database conversions and counting.
